[opensuse-factory] Bluetooh mouse etc. on kernel 5.1 (and 5.0.15+)
Hi everyone, I found that after Tumbleweed updated to kernel 5.1.2, my Bluetooth mouse would not work any more but run into a connect/disconnect cycle. I didn't find much about it a few days ago, but today, I got some good search results on the issue and ended up in https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=203643 which both tracks down the issue basically to the Bluetooth security fix that went into (I think) 5.1.1 and also 5.0.15 (Fedora people are now seeing it with their 5.0.16 kernel), and also links a proposed and apparently working fix. So, anyone using Bluetooth devices like mice, be aware of the issue, and if it affects you, wait with me on a fix dropping into our laps. :) Cheers, Robert Kaiser -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Hi, affects me too, Leap 15.0, since some days, no new kernel, but mainline kernel 4.12.14-lp150.12.61-default. Bluetooth mouse no longer works properly; changed batteries without success. Thank you, Robert, for your message. -- Regards, Alexander -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
