I fired up the menu editor for a check, but that one only has one entry. However, locate finds 16 entries in /usr/share/applications that look like okularApplication_<mime-type>.desktop.

WTF is this? How can I reduce the spam in my menues?

Addendum: This is the 'Application launcher' menu that you can bind to mouse actions in the plasma Desktop settings (I have that on left mouse...)
