Monitor choice no longer available

Hi, Up until around 10.1 beta4, my monitor was always auto-detected and showed exactly what it was. With beta4 and beyond, it doesn't detect it anymore, because it's not in the list of available monitors anymore. It just shows it as a vesa monitor. It looks the same, but I like the warm fuzzies when it knows exactly what my monitor is. I was wondering if there was a reason this change, such as being non-GPL or something. It's an NEC MultiSync LCD 1735NXM. Thanks, Chad

Please open a bugreport for this, this looks like a wrong change, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger, aj@suse.de, http://www.suse.de/~aj/ SUSE Linux Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126
