The zen updater showed available updates this morning (a whole slew of them, including libzypp and friends; I have factory and factory-extra subscribed), but the screen's been sitting at "Resolving dependencies" for almost an hour. I have to cancel on the laptop to go to work (maybe it will survive a lid close), but I will leave it running on the test machine at home just out of curiosity... Generally speaking, the new updater seems appallingly slow. Comments? -- Glenn Holmer (Linux registered user #16682) "I love virtuosity. I love danger." -Pierre Boulez, 2005

There're still some updates that are too old for RC2 on the server - but that should not give a problem. They resolved quickly for me, but came up with dependency errors, selecting the packages individually came up with the same dependency error - even when just selecting the MS TFT fonts package. I'm going to bed now, I'll try it again in the morning and raise a bug if it still gives the error... Dave -- "I got to go figure," the tenant said. "We all got to figure. We just fixed a bug in this area, so this should be fixed with RC3.
