[opensuse-factory] openoffice.org crashes in beta2 x86-64 with bad_alloc
silviu_marin-caea@silviu:~/Documents/download> soffice rate_apartament.ods javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment! silviu_marin-caea@silviu:~/Documents/download> terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc' what(): std::bad_alloc KCrash: Application 'soffice.bin' crashing... KCrash cannot reach kdeinit, launching directly. It just goes in a cycle of document recovery/crash. Can anyone confirm this bug? I also have a 32 bit virtual machine in VMware and that does not behave the same (ie it works). --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Does it also says it can't find the JRE? Hub --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

It just goes in a cycle of document recovery/crash.
Does this happen just with the above document or with any document? Could you please report it into bugzilla.novell.com? If it happens just with that document, it would be very useful if you could attach it to the bug. It happens even when I create a new document. As soon as I type a few letters, it crashes. I'll open a bug report. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Now it doesn't crash anymore, very probably because I have installed the kde3 pattern in the meantime. Before this, when it was crashing, I only had kde4, installed from LiveCD. But even now, it still doesn't work properly, there is a major problem with the file picker. It doesn't appear on the display, although I can see the process running. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
