[opensuse-factory] LXC in factory/Tumbleweed?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi everyone, as LXC got quite a lot of attention in the last weeks, I thought I would give it a spin. But I do not find any recent lxc in tumbleweed, and factory still has beta1 (AFAICS). Before I try building it myself, are there any plans to upgrade/add a package for the latest stable release? Maybe I am missing a repo, if so please tell me to RTFM. ;-) Regards, Johannes - -- `You place too much importance, and you always have done, on the so-called purity of blood. I am pretty certain the lxc maintainer will not be offended if you send a submit request ;) Later, Robert -- Robert Schweikert MAY THE SOURCE BE WITH YOU Public Cloud Architect LINUX SUSE-IBM Software Integration Center Tech Lead rjschwei@suse.com rschweik@ca.ibm.com 781-464-8147 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

First of all: I just started using osc and the buildservice yesterday. So maybe there are some big big flaws. I'll be happy if someone points them out to me, just starting to learn speaking osc... I linked the lxc package to home:ojkastl_buildservice, and after some fumbling around, got it to build on x86_64 and i586. Could someone test the packages? I took the one from Virtualization:, and - - updated the sources - - deleted the patch, as it was unnecessary (AFAIK) - - modified the spec to get rid of building errors. I had to add a few more files to the spec, especially some in /etc/apparmor.d/, so I had no more building errors. Looking forward to comments and critique, in the mean time I'll be looking up how to submit a submit request...
