20240617 broke some graphics on KDE Plasma 6.0.5
After upgrading to 20240617 some graphics started to bug out: notifications are just black triangles with some letters on it, YaST just straight up black window with no cursor and SSDM does not have a wallpaper and no cursor. Right now I'm trying zypper dup —-allow-vendor-change with packman repo disabled and it downgrades mesa driver.
My laptop setup: CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3250u with iGPU GPU: AMD Radeon Vega 3 RAM: System sees 9.7 out of 12 GB of RAM

Downgrading doesn't solve the problem? Thanks, doing that with Yast did help. So I downgraden from mesa 24.1.... to 24.0... and now I have a working KDE desktop again. Will add a lock on mesa until I hear that the problem was fixed... Fun Fact: Dark Mode was less affected than bright mode Breezes... Rarely have I seen such random dropouts... Same here, on up-to-date TW with AMD Ryzen 9 3900X and ATI Radeon RX 550 with Mesa 24.1.1 on KDE (regardless if X11 or Wayland) I see a lot of glitches and system is unusable. Same here. Completely broken KDE session with black screens, flashing of windows, both Wayland and X11. Downgrading Mesa to 24.0 semi worked as I'm forced to use X11, Wayland remains broken. By the way... i do not have this massive glitches, only some very small not completely removed shadows in the bottom line, after closing a window. (also amd graphic) but since one of the last, or the last snapshot konsole with midnight commander crashes (did not respond) when using it in x11. konsole+midnight commander in wayland is working. simoN -- www.becherer.de

I did not only downgrade to Mesa 24.1.0 (not 24.0!) , before that I did remove packman repos, did a zypper dup --allow-vendor-change and removed the .cache directory. Then a reboot, the Mesa install/downgrade and after another reboot I had mouse cursor and readable windows and popups again. No more errors in KDE/Plasma since then. Hey everybody! Thanks a lot, the "normal" updates via zypper dup --allow-vendor-change fixed the problem reliably on all my systems (I mean the ones I hadn't touched but that had the same problem). Yes, I have some 5-6 Ryzens occasionally running here :-) Keep up the great work and see you on Wednesday night and Saturday! Am Donnerstag, 20. Juni 2024, 15:13:27 MESZ schrieb Knurpht-openSUSE:

Upgrade to the already released 20240618 snapshot with Mesa 24.1.1. Everything works fine now.
I upgraded last night, but that did not change much. So perhaps I have to remove the cache.
