[opensuse-factory] GNOME 3.6 is now in openSUSE:Tumbleweed:GNOME
Finally, I have it working on my box, but I would like to get some more testers before I push it out to the main Tumbleweed repo. So, if you want to test the latest Gnome, can you add the repo in the $SUBJECT and do a 'zypper dup' to install everything and let me know how it goes? thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Greg, out of curiosity (maybe I can do it better next time): What caused problems for you (If it's time based, not much I can do... I can donate you 60 minutes per hour only). If there's anything I can do different next time around (will be GNOME 3.8, shortly after the 12.3 release I guess), I'd like to do so to make your life less miserable, and hopefully offering you more spare time for other / funnier things. Best regards, Dominique PS: Did you resync with GNOME:STABLE:3.6, as since the original message, we pushed gnome 3.6.2 there... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Yes, I resynced, and that solved the problems I was having with the original repo, I think I was hitting the gdm bug that caused things to not work, which has now been fixed. So no, it wasn't anything on your end, just mine, in my testing, with the latest packages, all is good, many thanks for that, you all did the hard work. Oh, I think there's a typelib repo configuration option that needs to be added somewhere as I had to hand-upgrade to mutter, did you see that same issue with the gnome repo? thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
