[opensuse-factory] Crashing Ksysguard (TW)
LS, Beside Ksysguard being memory hungry, it also crashes all the time. I tried it now on multiple machines, but every few hours I noticed that Ksysguard is gone, not running anymore. It all started when switching to KDE 5.20 some weeks ago. Looking at the various log files, I can't see any similarity in the random crashes. It's random because sometimes it runs for 12 or more hours, other times it crashes after one or two hours or anything in between. I first suspected overclocking was the culprit, but it also crashes on non-tweaked systems. This is one of those rare times I gone switch back to 15.2 and just wait until things are solved. Just waiting until the long running wget is finally finished within the next six hours or so :(. --- Frans. -- A: Yes, just like that A: Ja, net zo Q: Oh, Just like reading a book backwards Q: Oh, net als een boek achterstevoren lezen A: Because it upsets the natural flow of a story A: Omdat het de natuurlijke gang uit het verhaal haalt Q: Why is top-posting annoying? Might be https://bugs.kde.org/428160 which should be fixed in libksysguard5-5.20.2 (to be in Tumbleweed soon, and already available in KDE:Frameworks5 since two days). Thanks. Since I like to be on the edge, but not bleeding, I'll wait until the next TW snapshot update. ;) --- Frans. Does it also contain the fix for https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=428048, which is announced for 5.20.3? Thank you. Regards, Frank -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

It has been accepted to Factory as well meanwhile, so should be included in the next Tumbleweed snapshot. https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/844906 Kind Regards, Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
