http://en.opensuse.org/Submit_a_Bug That will give some information and then point you to the Novell site. You have to register first on the Novell site, but that is so they can send you questions if they have them and also send you feedback on what has happend with the bug. One thing, be specific and if possible tell them not just what you found, but also in what file, if you know. <Note to self: learn to use diff> houghi -- Nutze die Zeit. Lousy. I just can't get the hang of XML. I am afraid I will have to give up on it, because my technical knowledge is not sufficent. After all this time I still don't have anything real to show for. houghi -- Nutze die Zeit. Sie ist das Kostbarste, was wir haben, denn es ist unwiederbringliche Lebenszeit. Why do you want it in XML anyway? Can't this be done with a proper database? Azerion

So it can be downloaded to your machine and used in a multitude of ways. A database will be much more restricted to a single place that you then must contact. Having a (online) database would be perhaps not as easy to use in other programs or scripts. I am no idea, so make a database, put it online and prove me wrong. ;-) houghi -- Nutze die Zeit. XML is more convenient to be transformed into various formats, for example with XSL Transformation Stylesheets: - - HTML pages - - plain text files - - PHP arrays for a dynamic web interface - - SQL scripts for database - - Smart channel files - - Smart mirror config files ...
So it can be downloaded to your machine and used in a multitude of ways.
Yes, that too.
A database will be much more restricted to a single place that you then must contact.
And it's pretty much a tree structure anyway, so XML is a quite natural choice.

I don't think a database would be very convenient. You have to provide dumps and/or online access to be able to use the data. cheers - -- -o) Pascal Bleser http://linux01.gwdg.de/~pbleser/ /\\ <pascal.bleser@skynet.be> <guru@unixtech.be> _\_v The more things change, the more they stay insane. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFEMxJQr3NMWliFcXcRAifAAKC/2AzMM9C5C9BgNzwYoDQDBPmLZQCfQk8m iQTMI6QVxaUQfS9PksS92jA= =a2ZH -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
