Hey Group; I have a NVidia card which may be causing a problem in 11.3 with KDE4 crashing. However, I can not tell because no kernel will compile an be installed and work using openSUSE's 2.6.33-5 kernel and cloneconfig or /proc/config.gz. NV.run file complains about the correct naming and will not compile to check. This all has been brought up due to the stock 11.3 NV module may keep crashing or maybe it is KDE4. If I start up X and KDE4 comes up then bring up some program like tvtime, vlc or amarok. Great audio comes up. Then use <Alt><CTRL><F1> and start on something in a console. No telling when but KDE or X will just crash in time (less than 30 minutes). What has caused VGA= not to work with a kernel /proc/config.gz or cloneconfig? I am not just a X end user. I see in /proc/config.gz the mention of selinux and in cloneconfig apparmor for the same variable.
