Hi, tried to check this FATE, but the page says "Feature #323262 does either not exist or you are not authorized to access it." Could someone who has FATE access please summarize why support for Wacom serial devices needed to be removed? I am still using openSUSE Tumbleweed on multiple Fujitsu ST5xxx tablets, which use an Wacom ISDV4 tablet display. From my reading and limited understanding at a guess we are trying to swap to libinput only (this is all thats supported on wayland), and I'm taking another guess that serial mice / serial pointer drivers aren't supported currently by libinput. I've posted your comment to the fate entry so hopefully someone can give you a more complete answer. -- Simon Lees (Simotek) http://simotek.net Emergency Update Team keybase.io/simotek SUSE Linux Adelaide Australia, UTC+10:30 GPG Fingerprint: 5B87 DB9D 88DC F606 E489 CEC5 0922 C246 02F0 014B

Your summary is correct. And there is no plan to add such old stuff to libinput. Regards Oliver -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
