Hi, I am playing with kernel 3.7rc2 from kotd and I get this nice crash when I restart/shutdown or when it tries to sleep... http://paste.opensuse.org/48999800 sorry for the picture. my guess is that it happens because of the bluetooth that is my mouse [ 42.672032] input: Dell BT Travel Mouse as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:06.0/usb4/4-6/4-6.1/4-6.1:1.0/bluetooth/hci0/hci0:11/input18 /usr/sbin/hciconfig -a hci0: Type: BR/EDR Bus: USB BD Address: C8:BC:C8:B1:E5:83 ACL MTU: 1021:5 SCO MTU: 64:1 UP RUNNING PSCAN RX bytes:418824 acl:25950 sco:0 events:370 errors:0 TX bytes:1864 acl:11 sco:0 commands:48 errors:0 Features: 0xff 0xff 0x8f 0xfe 0x9b 0xff 0x79 0x83 Packet type: DM1 DM3 DM5 DH1 DH3 DH5 HV1 HV2 HV3 Link policy: RSWITCH HOLD SNIFF PARK Link mode: SLAVE ACCEPT Name: 'abbaton.ucd.ie-0' Class: 0x580100 Service Classes: Capturing, Object Transfer, Telephony Device Class: Computer, Uncategorized HCI Version: 2.1 (0x4) Revision: 0x18c LMP Version: 2.1 (0x4) Subversion: 0x21ba Manufacturer: Broadcom Corporation (15) if anyone else sees this please let me know or you think the causeis something else, please let me know as if persistent I would like to report it to kernel devs. regards, Alin -- Without Questions there are no Answers! ______________________________________________________________________ Alin Marin ELENA Advanced Molecular Simulation Research Laboratory School of Physics, University College Dublin ---- Ardionsamblú Móilíneach Saotharlann Taighde Scoil na Fisice, An Coláiste Ollscoile, Baile Átha Cliath ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://alin.elenaworld.net ______________________________________________________________________ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Before you can report it to the kernel devs, you will need to reproduce it without loading any kernel-tainting drivers, i.e. get rid of the P taint flag. At a minimum, you would need to blacklist wl. As the complete module list does not show in the photo, I'm not sure if there are others. Perhaps you are loading one of the proprietary graphics drivers.
