Hey Group; I am getting rather frustrated with phonon, pulse audio and KDE4 in SuSE 11.#. Today again KDE4 and pulse audio failure to work. It did yesterday and the day before but now it is failing again. No sound reported by Personal Settings > Multimedia - System Settings .> Music. and select the one that used to work - > Test and nothing. It is a KDE4/pulse audio problem. the is because if I call up Yast2 > Hardware > Sound and Test it it the sound works. Speakers are not unplugged! SuSE 11.3 Amarok 2.1.1 blows up. All of these headaches are after a recent zypper update.
