[opensuse-factory] Checking whether your package needs to be updated in Leap 42.2 w/ script
Hi, As @tiwai suggested in https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-m17n/2016-07/msg00000.html I wrote a script that can quickly get the origin state of packages in Leap 42.2 for a devel repository. http://paste.opensuse.org/85137824 You can prepare the two input files following the comment of that script, eg: $ ( osc list M17N ) > 1.txt Then, run the script: $ ruby Leap_origin.rb Will get you a "to_do.txt", like this: VFlib3: SUSE:SLE-12:GA anthy: openSUSE:Leap:42.1 In this case, you need to have a look at these packages in: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/openSUSE:Leap:42.2 To see if it is needed to update to factory version. if so: $ osc sr openSUSE:Factory anthy openSUSE:Leap:42.2 If it looks like this: libxkbcommon: openSUSE:Factory Then you don't need to do anything. Repository maintainers please check against the repository you managed. You can prepare the two input files following the comment of that script, eg:
$ ( osc list M17N ) > 1.txt
Then, run the script:
$ ruby Leap_origin.rb
Will get you a "to_do.txt", like this:
VFlib3: SUSE:SLE-12:GA anthy: openSUSE:Leap:42.1
In this case, you need to have a look at these packages in:
https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/openSUSE:Leap:42.2
To see if it is needed to update to factory version. if so:
$ osc sr openSUSE:Factory anthy openSUSE:Leap:42.2
If it looks like this:
libxkbcommon: openSUSE:Factory
Then you don't need to do anything.
Repository maintainers please check against the repository you managed.
When I run that script, I get the following: finger@linux-1t8h:~> ruby Leap_origin.rb Leap_origin.rb:15:in `initialize': No such file or directory @ rb_sysopen - 1.txt (Errno::ENOENT) from Leap_origin.rb:15:in `open' from Leap_origin.rb:15:in `process_repo' from Leap_origin.rb:48:in `<main>' Which package do I need to add? Please ignore my previous message. I failed to create the input files. The script worked fine. Larry -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
