[opensuse-factory] Zypper enhancement request.
Hi, As i lost my Yast2 repomngr, i wanted to disable some repos using zypper. Helas the options: enablerepo, er, and disablerepo, dr, do not exist.
repos, lr List all defined repositories. addrepo, ar Add a new repository. removerepo, rr Remove specified repository. renamerepo, nr Rename specified repository. modifyrepo, mr Modify specified repository. refresh, ref Refresh all repositories.
I tried to disable the repos using mr, but 'nothing to modify on repo <name repo>' was the answer... Is there an exact command to 'edit' the repos? switch off/on?, without totaly removing them? -- Enjoy your time around, Oddball (Now or never...) The name of the Yast2 repo-mngr module, to re-install it, would be fine instead also.. ;) -- Enjoy your time around, Oddball (Now or never...) Hello. I think this is not the correct mailing list for your idea. Use rather ZYpp-Devel ML: <zypp-devel@opensuse.org> You need to subscribe first. Regards Ladislav. On Mon, Apr 21, 2008 at 12:07 PM, Oddball <monkey9@iae.nl> wrote:

Hi, repomanager is integrated with yast2 software management, thats why the seperate one is gone. The menu item is under repositories you can create, delete, refresh enable and disable from within software manager now. Version of yast2-qt-pkg with fully functional versions tab is in yast build service cvs as well, 32 bit version works. This is bad:( This should be a seperate module, to quick, and only use for modifying repos...:( -- Enjoy your time around, Oddball (Now or never...) I like it, I can refresh and turn on and off repos on the fly. Dave P --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I took a better look at it, but it is working ok. It is the same module, only integrated into the sw-mngr. Not bad at all. (Now hope that that the sw-module gets stable :) -- Enjoy your time around, Oddball (Now or never...)
