[opensuse-factory] Call for Review of Release Notes
Dear openSUSE Contributors, Our Release Day isn't far away. So we need your help. Can you check our Release Notes [1] whether all important things are listed, please? If something is missing, you can create a Pull Request on github [2] or you inform the Release Management Team about adding parts via Bugzilla and "Release Notes". Thanks for your Contributions! Let's looking forward to a successfull and last 42 release, that we can continue with 15. I have a "silly" question ;-) The UEFI section mentions A pre-installed Windows 8 is a strong indication that your system boots using UEFI. What about Windows 10? Luckily ;-) I never had to deal with it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it also is a strong indication for UEFI. Minor nitpicking - the bugzilla link in "Changes for Users Installing the Nvidia Driver Manually" should go to bugzilla.opensuse.org instead of bugzilla.suse.com ;-) Besides that, the release notes look good :-) Regards, Christian Boltz -- Es ist halt nur nicht eine einzige zentrale Filterdatei. Well, yah. That is kind of the point of the exercise, I think. As it is, with our sort of uncoordinated community translations: either the translators catch up quickly or they're perennially behind anyway. Since this is a small change, it will be shown as a fuzzy translation and should hopefully not cause huge retranslation projects. This is a misunderstanding -- sorry for my wording. I meant to say that I am can't wait for everyone before I submit a release notes package, because there are often enough submission deadlines involved, so I can't in many cases wait much more than two days before submitting a new package. That does not always leave a lot of time for translators to do their job. I did not mean to imply that the translation teams among themselves are uncoordinated. In any case, the package is not so super-important as long as you have Internet, I guess -- the Web version updates automatically anyway. Stefan. --- . SUSE Linux GmbH. Hi, In fact, they are. There is no way to coordinate a translation team in Weblate. New translators can join weblate and do some translations the way she/he wants and don't even know there is a translation team.
