Hi, I would like to see the tool "git-annex" [1] added to Factory and have prepared submission requests to accomplish that. To build git-annex in Factory, we need a whopping 53 libraries [3] to be added, too, since git-annex depends on them. All that code is developed and maintained in the devel:languages:haskell project [2]. Having git-annex is kind of a no-brainer, really. The tool is extremely useful for managing repositories of large files in a decentralized, git-like style. It's actively developed, provides regular releases, and has been stable for quite some time.
