Package-Kit isn't adapted to new version of libzypp, yet ( see https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=445432 ). And there seems to be a bug in satsolver, which causes that loop Could you also provide a solver testcase to show the solver bug for i586,too ? On x86_64, it looks a little bit different. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

This is 32 bits only. Can zypper generate the solver test case? Or another command line method? I'm afraid yast2 software module gets into a 100% cpu loop (y2base) and does not display anything (I'm using a factory chroot). Does not even start. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. Markus Koßmann told me in the bugzilla how to do it; I post it here for the record: zypper dup -l --debug-solver - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
