Hi,
I'm pretty sure you need to upgrade chromium first.

According to the Packman list version 44 is available since 12 hours. But Zypper and Yast are not aware of the Tumbleweed updates :( Will just wait. -- Linux User 183145 using KDE4 and LXDE on a Pentium IV , powered by openSUSE 20150727 (x86_64) Kernel: 4.1.2-1-desktop KDE Development Platform: 4.14.10 15:11pm up 1 day 1:33, 3 users, load average: 0.39, 0.55, 0.49 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

You mean you are looking on the main page of the packman website to find out the new updates ? If so, then I guess you might have to wait for some time more. As that Chromium v44 isn't accepted yet for Tumbleweed/Factory, packman will not offer the corresponding ffmpeg package for it. This is good as that upgrade only one of the two packages to version 44, would cause Chromium not to start anymore. Both packages should be on version 44, for Chromium to work. Furthermore it seems that for Tumbleweed the Packman homepage is indicating the wrong version :) And I don't know where that comes from. Similary, on a 13.2 and Tumbleweed installs I see:
/usr/lib64/chromium/chromium: error while loading shared libraries:
libffmpeg.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or
directory

I guess in the meantime the package chromium-ffmpeg has been updated. For me, it helped to install chromium-ffmpegsumo instead. Werner --
