[opensuse-factory] xorg.conf
Hey Group; Where has the information previously held in xorg.conf being held? /etc/X11/xorg.conf can be removed with no effect. SaX2 write xorg.conf correctly but X fails to read it. I would like to add <CTRL><ALT><+/-> as in the older distributions -- 73 de Donn Washburn 307 Savoy Street Email:" n5xwb@comcast.net " Sugar Land, TX 77478 LL# 1.281.242.3256 Ham Callsign N5XWB HAMs : " n5xwb@arrl.net " VoIP via Gizmo: bmw_87kbike / via Skype: n5xwbg BMW MOA #: 4146 - Ambassador " http://counter.li.org " #279316 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Nowhere. It is automatically generated at runtime, everytime.
You can add your "modifications" without having the rest of the file. It has been commented previously here, but I can't find my notes on that right now. I think that "xorg --configure" generates the file. Sax should generate it, too. Ah, you say it is not read... :-? - -- Cheers, Carlos E. It is usually "X -configure" X is symlink to X server and <one dash> -configure is the option. -- Regards, Rajko OpenSUSE Wiki Team: http://en.opensuse.org/Wiki_Team People of openSUSE: http://en.opensuse.org/People_of_openSUSE/About -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
