Hello openSUSE! Just a friendly reminder that the feature cutoff for SLES 15 SP5 and openSUSE Leap 15.5 Beta Code submission + package drop *deadline is on 25th January 2022 15:00 UTC. Both Leap 15.5 and SLES 15 SP5 are conservative releases, so please respect deadlines. I expect SLE release management to be very strict afterward. Changes that are not bug fixes or features with an approved *ECO will not be accepted. When it comes to Community maintained packages, there we're a bit more flexible as long as the feature is *tracked and communicated ahead of. As an example the recently approved *Plasma 5.27 LTS to be a little bit late on delivery due to its roadmap. Just please make sure that all dependencies on the SLE side are submitted and accepted before January 25th. If you're submitting a new package to Leap 15.5 please make sure to submit it explicitly against openSUSE:Backports:SLE-15-SP5. Details can be found in *Packaging Guidelines for Leap.
