[opensuse-factory] -lwrap
Once upon a time a person on this list someone told me how to solve a question with compiling when an error "-lwrap" shows up. I had this information stored away until a drive died. If that person is around HELP again. As information goes I remember it was a down loadable file dealing with NET. -- 73 de Donn Washburn 307 Savoy Street Email:" n5xwb@comcast.net " Sugar Land, TX 77478 LL# 1.281.242.3256 Ham Callsign N5XWB HAMs : " n5xwb@arrl.net " VoIP via Gizmo: bmw_87kbike / via Skype: n5xwbg BMW MOA #: 4146 - Ambassador " http://counter.li.org " #279316 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I don't know about NET (linux packages tend to be lowercase), but to compile against libwrap you need to have tcpd-devel installed Anders -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

To be able to link with libwrap, you must have the package tcpd-devel installed in the build enviroment. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
Well Thanks to two of you folks for the correct answer. I now have a git version of Amarok running on this openSuSE 11.4 box. It still has the openSuSE problem which is caused by KDE4, DBus or nouveau or something causing a problem. It only works if I use "strace -o amarok amarok" from an xterm/konsole while in X. openSuSE's 11.4M2 version has the same problem. On 11/07/2010 08:26 PM, Cristian Rodríguez wrote:
