Hi, I just had read reports on the brokenness of ncurses in SuSE Linux 9.3. Looking it up for 10.0, I found that the ncurses library is 5.4 while 5.5 seems current. I wanted to look it up for 10.1beta, but couldn't find how to find out the included versions from the opensuse.org website. Thomas E. Dickey stated the latest patches are on ftp://invisible- island.net/ncurses/5.5/ Regards, Ulrich

Last time when I tried the "subwindow" features were either missing or completely broken. Regards, Ulrich
