[opensuse-factory] Cannot access samba shares from dolphin after latest snapshot.
Hi. After the latest snapshot I can no longer access samba shares from Dolphin. Dolphin outputs the following error message: Could not start process Unable to create io-slave: klauncher said: Error loading '/usr/lib64/qt5/plugins/kf5/kio/smb.so'. Any thoughts? I checked the library smb.so without finding anything weird (ldd etc). Regards, Micke. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

You could try a zypper dup or manually remove orphaned packages. On my machine, some of these orpaned packages (which had not been removed by a zypper up) blocked the installation of other required packages. This led to strange side effects (like samba not running, mplayer not starting, and others). Deleting the orphaned packages (my preferred way: from Yast sortware management) took care of this -- Cahn's Axiom: When all else fails, read the instructions. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
