FYI: Slowroll - unresolvable
I just didn't know where else to post this. Let me know if there's another place for it. nothing provides cmake(Qt6Core) = 6.8.0 needed by qt6-positioning-devel, (got version 6.8.1 provided by qt6-core-devel), nothing provides cmake(Qt6Qml) = 6.8.0 needed by qt6-webchannel-devel, (got version 6.8.1 provided by qt6-qml-devel), nothing provides libQt6Gui.so.6(Qt_6.8.0_PRIVATE_API)(64bit) needed by libQt6WebEngineCore6, nothing provides libQt6Quick.so.6(Qt_6.8.0_PRIVATE_API)(64bit) needed by libQt6WebEngineCore6, nothing provides libQt6Widgets.so.6(Qt_6.8.0_PRIVATE_API)(64bit) needed by libQt6WebEngineWidgets6 Regards

Regards Seems that the mirror, you are using is currently being upgraded from qt-6.8.0 packages to qt-6.8.1 packages . I would try again later.

Nope, this is on OBS. See e.g. packages in multimedia:apps https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor/multimedia:apps?defaults=0&unreso... audacious-plugins, Jamulus, kid3, mkvtoolnix, ... or packages in packman:Multimedia https://pmbs.links2linux.de/project/monitor/Multimedia?utf8=%E2%9C%93&defaul... qmmp, welle-io It looks like not all qt6 packages and dependencies have been updated to 6.8.1.

Yes, it is indeed an incomplete update of Qt. It seems, KDE and Qt packages have strong version dependencies and do not want to build/run with patch-level updates. If we want to avoid this kind of issue, we either need to * not update them for a month or * update them together as a group, but the scripts are not ready for the latter.

In my opinion, Slowroll should really take it easy. Then it's acceptable to wait a little longer and have a stable base of dependencies in return.

Is this not what the Slowroll users expect over TW? Some more stability for the price of less frequent updates? I use TW and feel it is very stable, however every now and then an issue slips through openQA (like the plymouth issue recently). Is SlowRoll not there to avoid these last infrequent issues? Cheers Axel
