Did 15.2 EOL 2021-12-31 as projected?
Did Leap 15.2 support end as planned/forecast/estimated on 31 December? I've seen no, and have not managed to locate any, announcement to that effect anywhere. https://lists.opensuse.org/archives/list/announce@lists.opensuse.org/ is empty of late. The closest I've found is on the forums where I see 15.2 E.o.L tags. -- Evolution as taught in public schools is, like religion, based on faith, not based on science. Team OS/2 ** Reg. That's just a reiteration of the plan put on the web last year. I was looking for an announcement that it in fact happened. There were new packages in 15.1's update repo after the planned EOL date. Is that going to, or has it happened, again? -- Evolution as taught in public schools is, like religion, based on faith, not based on science. Team OS/2 ** Reg. Linux User #211409 ** a11y rocks! Yes, I have seen some updates yesterday. No, there has not been an announcement that EOL is done. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.2 x86_64 at Telcontar)

You can consider the above as an official announcement, there may or may not be a couple more updates come through depending on whats sitting in the queue but you should no longer expect that security issues will be fixed there's a small chance there could be but I wouldn't depend on it. Given that Leap gets many of its updates from SLE, there is a fair chance that a few of the updates for SLE sitting in the queue have Leap enabled and may get released as such but there are certainly some updates in the queue that are setup to only release for 15.3 -- Simon Lees (Simotek) http://simotek.net Emergency Update Team keybase.io/simotek SUSE Linux Adelaide Australia, UTC+10:30 GPG Fingerprint: 5B87 DB9D 88DC F606 E489 CEC5 0922 C246 02F0 014B

Reason there was no official EOL notice is that I am on FTO until tomorrow and did not have time. ciao, Marcus

Of course, I'm aware. We were just talking about the actual announcement being missing.

Hi, I had posted to BOTH announce and security-announce... I was able to post to security-announce as I am the moderator, https://lists.opensuse.org/archives/list/security-announce@lists.opensuse.or... but the announce moderator seems AWOL.
