[opensuse-factory] Non-booting system after zypper dup - Factory
After a factory update the system would not boot. I built a new system from the 13.1 Milestone 2 DVD. After changing to factory repos and using zypper dup, the system no longer boots. The last message seen on console was "udev creating device nodes". I don't know if this is related to the other problems I see on the list due to fstab's entries using /dev/disk/by-id The following message repeated on tty1 and that's where it's stuck:- Welcome to emergency mode! After logging in, type "journalctl -xb" to view system logs, "systemctl reboot" to reboot, "systemctl default" to try again to boot into default mode. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No login prompt is ever reached.
