Chromium's dependency on Python 2
Hi, according to https://is.gd/zGzozb the source package of chromium still depends on pkgconfig(python) which resolves to python-devel (that is Python 2 devel package). Do you know whether it is correct? Does Chromium still depends on Python 2? If so, is there any upstream progress on removing this dependency? Upstream ticket? Can I help to get rid of it (a little help, I won’t be rewriting build scripts for whole thing)? Some build scripts have been updated, some haven't. I have no idea of scale but there will be quite a few, they're mostly minor changes. Main bug: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=942720 All trackers: https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/list?q=Proj%3DPython3Migration
Also how doe it compare to other chromium based browsers in this regard?
All of them use the same build scripts to build the base I think not 100%.
