grub2 slow as hell via serial console (possible regression?)
Hi all, I just had to use the serial console on my APU2D (with the Tumbleweed-based openSUSE MicroOS) to rollback to an earlier snapshot in GRUB2. And the GRUB2 menu was incredibly slow. Selecting items in the list took like 20s after pressing the DOWN_ARROW key for the selection to actually move. Is that a known regression? I did not notice that on this machine before. Funnily, I checked another machine also running MicroOS and there the GRUB2 menu was "normal", without visible delay. As a side note, the slow machine failed on my several times during the selection and rebooted (or restarted grub2?), so I had to restart from the beginning again... This was the error shown directly before rebooting: error: ../../grub-core/video/bitmap_scale.c:41:null src bitmap in grub_video_bitmap_create_scaled Is anyone aware of an existing bug report that I missed in my search? If not, worth opening a bug?
