[opensuse-factory] yast software management failure
I did an upgrade to M3 last night. Just now in KDE3 I opened YaST2, then clicked on Software Management. Instead of getting it, an xmessage window opened up. It appears to be in 4pt type, so I have no idea what it says. Is there a way to configure such message windows to open using a legible font size? Anyone else unable to open Software Management in YaST2? -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." Proverbs 16:21 (New Living Translation) Team OS/2 ** Reg. please check in $HOME/.xsession-errors for any clue what happened. On Tue, Jul 26, 2011 at 2:42 PM, Felix Miata <mrmazda@earthlink.net> wrote:

I see nothing in it that I can connect to the problem. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." Proverbs 16:21 (New Living Translation) Team OS/2 ** Reg. Linux User #211409 ** a11y rocks! Felix Miata *** http://fm.no-ip.com/
i find rather strange your ,xsession-errors file but never mind that. When xmessage dialog pops up you can use double (or triple) click to select text which than you can paste to any other textual editor and see what exactly that message is saying simple example is to run xmessage bla bla bla & then just try to copy it into buffer which should show up to you if you use klipper app On Thu, Jul 28, 2011 at 12:34 PM, Felix Miata <mrmazda@earthlink.net> wrote:
