[opensuse-factory] apache restart in correct time
Hello! I am now working on resolution of bug 893659. You can read the details there and proposal in comment 5 complemented by comment 7. In short, during package update, restart happens in apache2 %postun, which means before upgrade of apache2-MPM package if apache2-MPM is upgraded after apache2. Restarting of instances doesn't work at all so far. The proposal summary is: For each package that wants restart apache during this package's update (apache2, apache2-MPM and module packages) 1. in %postun, set an appropriate flag, 2. in %posttrans, restart if the flag is set and remove the flag. This should ensure that apache is restarted at the end rpm/zypper transaction and each instance at most once. For module package, only these instances will be restared, which have the given module loaded (mentioned in appropriate sysconfig file). Packages Apache/apache2 and Apache:Modules/apache2-mod_{bmx,bw} are ready for testing, involved macros are in Apache/apache-rpm-macros-control.
