Did you read the article you linked to and did you follow the Download link in the article? Right at the top of the Download page is a Note which states: --------------- Note: openSUSE 10.3 Beta 1 release date is set for Thursday, Aug 9 and hence is in fact not released just yet. -------------- So.... that should answer the question :-) C. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Ok, so that was only a "pre-release" of beta1 at LinuxWorld :) --Terje --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

This is a press announcement and if you check the wikipedia article for press you won't find the word fact on it - that's all I can say. Sorry, somehow this wrong information made it into Novell's press release. So, it's kind of prominent pre-announcement for Beta 1 ;-) which is scheduled for tomorrow. Michael
Greetings, Stephan

There seems to be bittorrent distribution of 10.3 Beta 1. I managed to download NonOSS and Language Add-On images. When I tried to download the DVD, it took about a day to download 3.6 GB of the 4.01 GB. Then the download stopped. I tried on another machine, but KTorrent says that download will take 587 days. I bet Opensuse 10.5 is already published then... So what about those KDE-CDs? Can I use it (I now have 10.2, so I cannot use deltas)? -- Arto Viitanen --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I just did it yesterday, and it took about 2 hours.
