[opensuse-factory] ndiswrapper still not on 1 CD install
Hello, during a discussion on IRC it appears that ndiswrapper is still lacking on 1 CD install. I really think its presence is mandatory because wireless network are today very widespread and are used as the only form of network in a lot of places. Having it on a repository is useless if you have no network to use it. I hope it is possible to add it in the next beta release. With kind regards, Alberto --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I agree that network packages are more important than anything else. Still I need to find something else to remove ;( Greetings, Stephan --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Hello Stephan, what about games on GNOME 1 CD install? There are many and ndiswrapper is not big. I'll try to find something else to remove too in the GNOME cd however :-) What do you think? What do you think? I want to have some standard games in a default installation. That gnome-games adds 9MB is unfortunate, but it's the way it is.

And lbreakout which also is the only thing that depends on SDL_mixer (if I remember correctly)

If we need the place to include anything more important I vote to remove the games. OK. But if ndiswrapper is out, I think the price of having game is too high. I'll try to find something better to remove however. :-) Regards, Alberto --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
