[opensuse-factory] What is this? systemd message, Leap 15.0 beta

It is a fresh install of Leap 15.0, so perhaps there is some systemd file that should be changed. :-? -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 42.3 x86_64 "Malachite" at Telcontar)

what does systemctl show nss-lookup.target -p Before -p After shows in your system.. ? I agree the message is awkward.. nss-lookup.target does not have a Before dependency on itself..unless there is bug somewhere.. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Argh,. well.. workaround is to just blank out /etc/insserv.conf if you have no legay init scripts around. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

In my case, this is a fresh install of 15.0, so whatever 15.0 has. cer@Minas-Anor:~> cat /etc/insserv.conf # insserv.conf is kept for backward compatibilty with old scripts. # It is parsed by systemd. $named +named +dnsmasq +lwresd $remote_fs $local_fs +nfs +cifs $time +ntpd cer@Minas-Anor:~> -- Cheers/Saludos Carlos E. You can also remove the insserv package if there isn't any package you use that still mistakenly depends on it, nothing should use this stuff at all anymore. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Well, I don't know if I do. That's something for the distro, perhaps. sensors_detect uses modprobe. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 42.3 x86_64 "Malachite" at Telcontar)

It is insserv-compat

systemd-insserv-generator is part of systemd. I claim that this is a bug in generator - it should not mix facility names with service names. $named is *not* the same as plain named. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

It is indeed a bug.. nss-lookup.target should not be ordered before itself, fact it should not be doing anything on target units.. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
