[opensuse-factory] Problems with Wayland and GNOME
Hello. Is anybody else having problems with Wayland and GNOME like me? Since some update, icons in systray are no longer interactive (hexchat, pidgin, gnome alarm...). I have occasional restarts of the session https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1090846 And from time to time the whole screen freezes for few seconds. My laptop is Lenovo X230 with i915 video card. What do I do wrong? It is really annoying. Should I switch back to xorg? -- Vit Pelcak vpelcak@suse.cz Team Lead in QA/Maintenance SUSE LINUX, s.r.o. Should I switch back to xorg? I had all of that as well with a Lenovo X1 KabyLake and switched back to Xorg which seems to be much more stable but seems that it incorrectly gets the scaling for HiDPI wrong after suspend. So in applications everything is still good but Gnome shell's mouse pointer is huuuge (scale factor 2 I guess).
In addition applications like Zoom fail with screensharing under Wayland. Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
