[opensuse-factory] Kick-off..How to change Leave Mode>Laptop/PC?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, This menu has two leave options: One for laptop, and one for PC. My question: How can i change an unwanted option, into a wanted one? Laptop has got suspend modes, i do not need them on my PC. The PC mode has got a lot of interessting boot-options, i want to have these as a default....but somehow the laptop options are default.. Besides from clicking an arrow, to move into the submenu's, it is annoying not to be able to change these 'Leave' options... Laptop has got suspend modes, i do not need them on my PC. That's your personal choice. HAL says your PC can suspend and for many suspending is the nicer choice than shutting down - so they can continue their work the next morning without wasting power overnight.
And the reboot options are given if you use grub and grub's menu.lst has them. I appreciate your answer, but it is not the answer i need. I saw in the leave menu in Kick-off, several times, options to boot directly into windows, or in the default kernel, or in 102, and i used these options, to skip the choices i have to make when the system is booting up again. When i choose before shut down, i cam make coffee, or take a pee, without having to wait for to make the choice in grub, which saves me time, and i know, when i gat back, the system i want to work in, is allready waiting for me to continue... Usual, when not reakting in time, an os had been booted. Now, grub sits and waits.... Both less interresting than the newly built-in pre-boot-choice options. What i want is, to have these options. Now allways only the suspend options are there... The suspend options are allright, it is not that i am saying they are not. I just want the pre-boot choises included in the Kick-off allways. How do i do that? That is my question.. Gretz. M9.
