[opensuse-factory] Integration od KDE and IBus
Hello all, is someone able to explain how is IBus expected to be integrated in KDE/Plasma 5? I'm permanently up to date with Tumbleweed and running KDE. At the moment I see two language icons side by side in the systray - the KDE control module and IBus, showing the same language. Is this intented? Furthermore there seems to be a bug in the IBus applet - if I uncheck Show icon on system tray the icon disappears, but on the next launch of KDE the icon reappears, although the checkbox is still unchecked. Nevertheless, my basic question is how the integration should look like. Or whether I have to uninstall IBus, whether it is needed for KDE at all. plasma5-addons contains the "kimpanel" applet which can be used as a Plasma frontend to either IBus or fcitx (personally I prefer the latter, but it supports both). -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
