Instead of trying to fix gdome2 (which is likely not difficult neither), I decided to create delete requests for this package... its last release is from 2003 and nothing in Factory* makes use of it. * Well, every good rule has an exception: The two packages - gtkmathview - gmetadom depend on gdome2... even though they still build, they are outdated and useless... thus also requested for deletion.
