[opensuse-factory] 15-Beta 187.1 - Gtk3 FileChooser Opens Full-Screen-Height in IceWM - can't be resized in VM
When installing a Custom minimal X-Window install with IceWM as the default desktop, and geany as an editor, attempting to open a file invokes the Gtk+3 FileChooser which is display almost Full-Screen (on 1382x864) and is displayed Full-Height and cannot be resized when accessed in VM (virtualbox --headless). Alt+F8 is unresponsive to resize the dialog and the resize handle cannot be reached as the FileChooser is hidden behind the IceWM taskbar (you can reach the resize left-right, but not up-down because you are over the taskbar at that point) It looks like another Gtk+3 SNAFU. -- David C. Yep, already there. Also, there is something FUBAR on how the Factory list causes reply-quoting and indentation to behave. I just tried to nicely trim by selecting your quote and hit reply and it put the whole damn message in the reply (including your signature) -- that's screwed up. It didn't even include my signature. Apparently it happens with list mail :-) Later we learnt that it happens with list emails posted by Patrick. I'm suspecting his ISP, because it is not the first time he has issues with email; and if it turns out that he is reusing the same Thunderbird config from other systems, then there is a high probability of there being something wrong with that inherited config. I would try with a brand new user, and create the Th profile from scratch. if that worked, then I would try the old user with a new TH profile. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. I've no doubt missed exactly what this issue is about, I just wanted to say that the list manager only appends two lines at the end, otherwise it does not alter the message. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (10.4°C) http://www.cloudsuisse.com/ - your owncloud, hosted in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

local setting in my ~/.muttrc. aligns attribute to quoted text. should not affect your client. have never had anyone else question or comment.
To all - none was a rant -- perhaps a bit colorful in the descriptions...
maybe quite a bit! and if not a rant, cited problems still need bug reports. unless they are rants. fwiw, I have noticed no problems replying on the factory list. but I do not use tb. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

This post is made with Thunderbird on 15.0, and as we can see, no problems. I highlighted a section of your post, then hit "reply to list". Worked fine. -- Cheers/Saludos Carlos E. R.
