For many years I have been able to boot the system with "init 1" on the grub command line and then do 'mount -o remount /dev/[hdaX/sdaX]' to be able to execute 'e2fsck /dev/sdaX'. I just tried to do this while running Milestone #2 of 12.2 and got nowhere :-( . I kept getting the error message, "/ is busy". Why this error message? Is it to do with this systmmd thingie or something else? Thanks for any help as I would like to make sure that my file system IS alright.
