[opensuse-factory] FTP installation failure (kernel trap)
from ftp-1.gwdg.de booting with grub using local copies of factory installation kernel & initrd loud speaker beeps at Starting hardware detection drivers: ata_piix, piix, generic loading ata_piix, sym53c8xx ... graphical YaST starts lang and agreement selected "Loading kernel modules for hard disk controllers" (installation halted) kernel trap showing on tty4 Retry with brokenmodules=ata_piix didn't change anything P3 700/100 on Intel 440BX chipset (Tyan S1846) 512M RAM last partition on hda is 25 (target is hda19) fully functional with 10.1, 10.2, OS/2 & windoz -- "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." What exactly? I just had OOPS in xor and wait for the next build to double check this.
Retry with brokenmodules=ata_piix didn't change anything
P3 700/100 on Intel 440BX chipset (Tyan S1846) 512M RAM last partition on hda is 25 (target is hda19) fully functional with 10.1, 10.2, OS/2 & windoz

Without knowing better what part of the trap information you care about I'm afraid you have everything I have time to give. I'm not going to type a whole screenful of that gobbledegook in manually, but only whatever portion should matter. I suggest t owait for the next sync after tomorrow - we do an internal alpha2 tomorrow, and that one has to work - it will get testing. If it still fails afterwards, tell me.
