Just a warning, myself and some others in IRC have been experiencing some odd behavior/freezing (show stoppers) with 4.4.0 kernel on radeon OSS drivers. There are a couple seemingly relevant upstream mailing list threads and patches. I am working through trying to test some of them out with the hope of finding a solution. In the mean time I still have a 4.3.x kernel which does not exhibit the issues.
