[opensuse-factory] leap42b3 - nfs root - dracut default cmdline does not work
I'm doing a network install onto a machine with NFS root. It's painfully slow, but more importantly, the initial initrd built by the installation system does not work. This is the cmdline: root=nfs4:rootserver:/srv/nfsroot/office36:rw,relatime,vers=4.0,rsize=131072,wsize=131072,namlen=255,hard,proto=tcp6,port=0,timeo=600,retrans=2,sec=sys,clientaddr=2001:db8:1:ff99:ffff:0:110d,local_lock=none,addr=2001:db8:1::128 ip=:static ^^^^^^^^^^ "ip=:static" is not a valid syntax, afaict. Overriding it with "ip:dhcp6" at boot time should have worked, but didn't. Something called "dracut-initqueue" complained about syntax, a "/64" somewhere where it should not be. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (6.7°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free dynamic DNS, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
