[opensuse-factory] UEFI bootable livecd/dvd image ?
Hi, I managed to get opensuse installed (and booting) on my uefi enabled system. However I had to use another livecd distro (namely Ubuntu) to achieve proper grub2 and embedded EFI bootloader configuration. efibootmgr does not work from a non uefi system, and iso from opensuse.org are not able to boot in UEFI mode. This is an issue because it does not allow to make EFI bootloader able to launch GRUB2. An ugly workaround consist in playing with *.efi file in ESP partition to cheat EFI bootloader, but it is not safe. Another one is to boot ubuntu in UEFI mode to use efibootmgr. Would it be possible to make iso able to boot in UEFI mode, to remove the need to use some third party tool to add an entry to the EFI bootloader ?
