[opensuse-factory] /lib/modules/3.4.11-2.16-desktop/build, has this changed in 12.2?
Hi, I am trying to get a Huawei e173 3G modem installed on my eee pc 901 under 12.2. It fails to install the drivers for it. Compiler, make and sources are installed. This is part of the message:
make -C /lib/modules/3.4.11-2.16-desktop/build SUBDIRS=/usr/local/Mobile_Partner/Movistar_3.5G/driver/ndis_driver/ndis_src/src modules make: Entering an unknown directory make: *** /lib/modules/3.4.11-2.16-desktop/build: No such file or directory. Stop. make: Leaving an unknown directory

To build an out-of-kernel driver, you need to have the kernel headers installed. Use sudo zypper install kernel-desktop-devel Larry -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
