At least build correctly here with their next version (beta) 290.06 and didn't get that much errors under xorg & kde4 Maybe I'll try that then. But in the meantime, what does this mean and where to start fixing? I'm running RC2 against my best interests because I felt the bugs were low enough now I could still be basically functional while helping. -- "... version.h is a header that is generated when you build the kernel. Most distributions don't include it nowadays, and it's a problem for the nvidia driver. You can: 1) download it, 2) installing some package that might have it (search, I think maybe one of the -devel packages). It's not a complicated header, it only specifies the kernel version, so no big deal. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

header files are contained in *-devel packages. You do have kernel-<flavor>-devel and kernel-devel installed? I have the NVidia*.bin installed on x86_64 12.1rc2+ (?gm) 15:07 Crash121: ~ # glxinfo |grep -i nvidia server glx vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation client glx vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation OpenGL vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation OpenGL version string: 2.1.2 NVIDIA 280.13 ps: The first *long* post containing the log file was ?necessary? but quoting it again and again certainly was not.
