I just tried to use it on 11.2 from the last netinstal iso 2 days ago. It is still broken. It is impossible to save a document, errormessage: impossible to save: started at the wrong parameters. I did nothing, just open a new document and wrote a letter... I now am trying to use the writer in 11.1. I have copied the letter and pasted it into a texteditor, and saved it thus. Now i have to change permissions to get into the documents of the other os :) (forgot to save it somewhere else... lol.) -- Enjoy your time around, Oddball, aka M9. NP. I just ran into the problem, and when i looked at the fresh mail, i saw this post ;) I will file a bug lateron. On 11.1 Oo works fine to me. One feature i miss: Printing on an envelope. It works for me. I wasn't able to install the last snaphot, so I installed an one week old snaphost for x86_64. In each case, it included the last OOo-3.0.99.2 packages. I created a simple document in Writer and saved it without problems. I used KDE4. Anyway, please report the bug. It might need more debugging. You might use OOo another way. There might be another problem on your system, ...

Hmm, it looks like a bug. Could you please report it as well? I do not promise that we will fix all bugs immediately. We need to sort them by severity and priority. The "unable to save bug" will have hight priority because OOo is unusable with it. The bug with envelope printing will have lower priority and it might take weeks or months to get it fixed. Anyway, it is good to have it in the queue. NP, i am an alpha/beta tester, so i just run into bugs while using the os like a production machine, and report them. It would be nice if all bugs would be fixed before the final, but that never happened... lol... Just keep on hunting with the spirits up....
