What is not allowed?
if they are built somewhere else and given to nvidia to host them,
In nvidia repository there is clearly visible notice that it is not nvidia who prepared the packages.
it is nvidia problem for not complying with copyright of linux developers.
Can you please clarify how it is "not complying with copyright of Linux developers"? GPLv2 only prohibits inclusion of binaries as part of the kernel, not providing binary drivers which the user can link to the kernel. If Nvidia drivers violate copyright, then it would not ship any drivers at all, as well as VMWare or anything else that uses binary drivers.

You are wrong, they are NOT built on public openSUSE Build Service instance.
Files ARE prepared on public OBS but building is done on build.suse.de
So how does it affect copyright? If you build something on another server it saves you from copyright violation? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
