[opensuse-factory] Status: Milestone3
Hi, Build845 is considered a good Milestone3 and so I'm uploading it to the mirrors right now. The version updates of that release can be checked here: http://en.opensuse.org/index.php?title=openSUSE%3AFactory_versions&action=historysubmit&diff=29155&oldid=26928 I hope someone is preparing an announcement. Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

It's a pity rosegarden-10.10 is going to miss the boat maybe, I sent delete request 52443 for rosegarden4 and submit request 52444 for rosegarden, which is the universal name of the package and will enable new users to find it easily. It'll be in the next milestone, and as long as it's in 11.4, I think everything should be fine :-) Note that in this specific case, your requests were sent this Monday, which is a bit late to get it in a milestone the same week. I know, I tried a spec file name change first, but it was declined because of that. I wasn't sure if it would pass, the wiki only mentions the delete/submit request method and I didn't see anything to to say the name change wasn't allowed. My home package was called rosegarden-qt4 from when I was testing the early pre 10.01 release and the spec name changed to the factory name rosegarden4 at 10.01. The name change is more important. I was just trying to make somebody feel sorry for me and speed it up :-[ Dave P -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I installed Build 845 (M3) from the KDE CD on a 32-bit VB VM. I haven't run it much, but it seems OK. Larry -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

There are several workarounds for making m2 work on VB. Take a look at http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Most_annoying_bugs_11.4_dev Greetings, -- Javier Llorente

How long does the upload process take? http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/ currently shows no 11.4-milestone3 directory. gwdg.de has no 11.4-milestone2 directory, but does have an empty 11.4-milestone4 directory. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
